Project Overview
The BMW ITRC facility is approximately 84,000 square feet and consists of 3 floors including a data center. Each floor contains a glass enclosed IDF. Each IDF is connected with a 50um fiber backbone in addition to a 25 pair copper backbone. All backbone cable is installed to the data center located on the ground floor.

Cable and Connectivity
The entire project contains SYSTIMAX cable and connectivity. All cables installed were rated category 6 in performance and the jacket was plenum rated. The entire project is certified and receives a 25 year SYSTIMAX warranty.

Scope of Work
All cable was installed overhead inside of basket tray. Cables were terminated to consolidation points throughout the entire facility. This allows for total flexibility when it comes time for moves, adds, and changes (MACs). The backbone connecting the data center to each floor received a 50um fiber backbone in addition to a 25 pair copper cable.
